Preparing Your Body & Heart At Iftar time:
Enjoy your meal with family or at the masjid. Then pray Maghrib farḍ, followed by sunnah and adhkar after salah. While cleaning the kitchen, remain engaged in dhikr. Once your responsibilities are complete, take a quick shower (about 5 minutes) with the intention:
“I am cleansing my body and my sins.” Wear clean clothes and begin the night with good deeds. Pray two rakʿahs of sincere tawbah every night, and spend 5–10 minutes seeking Allah’s forgiveness from the heart. If possible, help someone break their fast — even with a date or water. You receive the same reward as the fasting person, and if it is Laylat al-Qadr, the reward is beyond measure.
