Lost? Maybe You Misplaced Your Manual (Quran)

Whenever we buy something new—like a phone, a laptop, or even a small appliance—it always comes with a manual. Why? Because we need guidance on how to set it up and use it properly. Now think about this: how could Allah ﷻ, the Creator of everything, make human beings—the most complex creation—and just leave us on this earth without guidance? Of course, He didn’t.

From the time of Prophet Nuh (Noah, peace be upon him), Allah has been sending guidance through His prophets, scriptures, and messengers. From Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to Prophet Musa (Moses) to Prophet Isa (Jesus), and finally to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, Allah continuously sent His message to guide us.

And the final and perfect guidance came through the Qur’an—a divine manual for all humanity.

A Book Unlike Any Other

Allah ﷻ says in the Qur’an:

“This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah.”
— [Surah Al-Baqarah 2:2, Sahih International]

No human author — from the beginning of time until now — has ever been able to say with 100% certainty that their book is completely true, without any doubt, and perfectly right in every word, without divine revelation.

The Qur’an is not just any book. It’s the Word of Allah, unique and unmatched. When you read it with an open heart, you begin to understand its message. It speaks directly to your soul.

Yes, it’s a sacred book that we must respect—but it’s not meant only for special occasions or to sit on a shelf. It’s meant to be our daily guide, our constant companion.

A day without the Qur’an feels like a missing piece in the heart—like your soul is searching for something it can’t quite find. Because the Qur’an is the light that keeps the heart alive.

A Friend and Companion for Every Moment

The Qur’an is not just for Muslims—it’s for all humanity.

If you’re a non-Muslim, it will guide you toward truth, purpose, and real success.
If you’re a Muslim, it will teach you how to strengthen your faith, improve your character, and bring peace to your life.

When you read it, you feel peace.
When you listen to it, you feel peace.

It’s like having a 24/7 friend who always gives the best advice. Whenever you’re lost, sad, or unsure—just open the Qur’an. You’ll find exactly the words you needed to hear.

My Personal Journey: From Darkness to Light

There was a time when I was deeply unwell—sick in ways no medicine could reach. My body was weak, my heart felt empty, and my soul was restless. I tried everything, but nothing truly healed me.

Then one day, someone told me about something that could heal every kind of pain—physical, emotional, and spiritual. They said, “Whoever turns to it never remains the same.”

I remember thinking, if such a cure exists, who wouldn’t run toward it? Who wouldn’t do whatever it takes to be healed?

And that’s when I found it.
It wasn’t a person. It wasn’t a place.
It was the Qur’an.

I opened the Qur’an—not just to read it, but to understand it, to live it, to feel it. And that’s when my life truly changed.

Allah ﷻ Himself calls the Qur’an “Shifa”—a healing and mercy for humankind:

“O mankind, there has come to you instruction from your Lord and healing for what is in the breasts, and guidance and mercy for the believers.”
— Surah Yunus 10:57

“And We send down of the Qur’an that which is healing and mercy for the believers; but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss.”
— Surah Al-Isra 17:82

No medicine, no therapy, no words could ever reach the depth of my pain the way the Qur’an did. It healed wounds I didn’t even know I had. It gave peace to my heart, strength to my soul, and direction to my life.

My health began to improve.
My life gained meaning.
I started living for the purpose for which I was sent to this earth—by following the teachings of the Qur’an.
My relationships with my family grew stronger.
My love and compassion for others deepened.
And my purpose became clear—to serve Allah and to help His creation.

The Qur’an transformed me—from a person shaped by the world to a servant shaped by Allah’s divine guidance.

What to Do With the Qur’an Now

So what now?
Now that we know the Qur’an is:

  • Our manual for life
  • Our guide to truth
  • Our friend in loneliness
  • Our healer in pain

What should we do with it?

Open it daily — even a few verses can change your day.
Reflect on its meaning — don’t just read, understand.
Live by it — let your actions mirror its teachings.
Share it — spread its light to your family, children, and friends.

Because the Qur’an is not just meant to be read — it’s meant to be lived.

Make it your companion—and you’ll never walk in darkness again.

O Allah, make the Qur’an the spring of Our heart,
the light of our chest,
the remover of our sadness,
and the reliever of our worries and grief.

Ameen !
